SaaS development: web platforms with accounts, billing, APIs and dashboards

ODEL builds SaaS products for founders and small companies: web apps with sign-up, teams, Stripe subscription billing, dashboards, background jobs and APIs, on Node.js, PostgreSQL and React. The proof is Appalize, an App Store Optimization platform ODEL designed, built and runs, with a React and Vite frontend, a Node.js and Express backend on PostgreSQL with Redis job queues, Stripe billing, the App Store and Google Play APIs, and a REST API plus an MCP server for AI assistants. A project starts with a discovery call and a written scope that names the one workflow the first version must do well, then clickable screens, milestone releases on a staging server you can use, and launch on hosting in your own account. You work with the developer who writes the code, and you own the code, the database and the cloud and Stripe accounts.

Who it is for

  • Non-technical founders with a validated B2B or prosumer SaaS idea
  • Small companies replacing spreadsheets or several tools with one internal platform
  • App businesses that need dashboards or automation around App Store Connect and Google Play
  • Products that need a mobile app and a web platform sharing one backend

When we are not the right fit

  • Systems that require a certified vendor or audited compliance from day one, such as SOC 2 programs, HIPAA business associate agreements or payment processing cores
  • Large enterprise integrations (ERP, SAP, legacy mainframes) on fixed short deadlines
  • Founders looking for a long-term technical co-founder with equity: ODEL works as a hired studio
  • Problems an existing SaaS already solves well at a fair monthly price: buy it

What you get

How the project runs

  1. 01

    Discovery and written scope

We name the users, the one workflow worth paying for, the data model and integrations. You get a fixed quote or a phased plan.

  2. 02

    Screens and data model

Clickable screens and a database schema you can review before the build starts.

  3. 03

    Build on staging

Each milestone is deployed to a staging server you can log into and test.

  4. 04

    Billing and launch

Stripe plans, emails, analytics and error tracking, then production launch in your cloud account.

  5. 05

    After launch

Optional monthly work: features, fixes, infrastructure and performance.

Questions about working with us

How much does it cost to build a SaaS?

It depends on the number of workflows, roles, integrations, billing complexity and compliance needs. ODEL quotes after a discovery call, as a fixed price or a phased plan. As market context, vendor blogs in 2026 put a SaaS MVP with auth, one core workflow, a basic dashboard and one payment integration at about 8,000 to 25,000 USD offshore, and a simple SaaS at 30,000 to 75,000 USD from US, UK or Australian firms (Prioxis, a vendor estimate). No independent survey of SaaS build cost was found.

How long does a SaaS MVP take?

Vendor estimates in 2026 put a thin slice (one workflow, basic auth, simple admin, Stripe checkout) at about 8 to 10 weeks and a core MVP with multi-tenant roles and subscription billing at 10 to 14 weeks (Teamseven, a vendor estimate). Real time depends on scope and how quickly decisions are made.

Should I find a technical co-founder instead?

If the product is your company and you cannot keep paying for development, a co-founder with equity can make more sense, and many founders on Reddit recommend it. Hiring a studio makes sense when you need a working first version to validate, raise money or sell, and want clear ownership without giving away equity.

Can you build AI features, or just call an API?

Most useful AI features do call a model API; the work is in the prompts, data handling, cost limits, fallbacks when a provider fails and checking outputs. Appalize uses the Anthropic, OpenAI and Google Vertex AI SDKs, and DREA and DishBook use model APIs for generated content. Ask any vendor which models they use and how they handle outages.

Who owns the app, the source code and the developer accounts?

You do. The app is published under your own Apple and Google developer accounts, the repository is yours, and the written agreement assigns the code and design to you; under US law, for example, a contractor owns the code by default unless there is a written assignment, so ask for that clause from anyone you hire. ODEL is added to your accounts as a team member and can be removed at any time.

Who will I actually talk to during the project?

The developer who designs and builds your app. ODEL is a one-person studio run by Oguz Delioglu, so there is no account manager between you and the code: you get answers from the person writing it and test builds on your own phone at each milestone. The trade-off is capacity: ODEL takes on a small number of projects at a time.
