UnvayHealth & Fitness Unvay: a quit smoking and vaping app with on-device data, built and run by ODEL
Unvay is a quit smoking and vaping app for adults, designed, built and published by ODEL on iPhone and Android. Users create a personal quit plan for cigarettes, e-cigarettes or other nicotine products, pick a small action from guided craving rescue tools when an urge hits, and log urges, mood and triggers next to a visual streak and progress tracking. There is no account: the plan, journal and craving entries stay on the device and are not sent to ODEL DEV LLC or an analytics service. It is built with Expo and React Native, with iOS and Android widgets, notifications and a subscription with a 3-day trial for eligible users. It shows how ODEL handles a sensitive wellness app without medical claims or data collection.

The problem

What we learned
- For sensitive habits, no account and no analytics is a feature people can read on the store page, and it keeps privacy labels short. Ask whether your app needs a server at all before paying for one.
- A rename and a wider scope (from vaping to all nicotine products) can ship as an update to the same app instead of a new listing.
- Health-adjacent apps need careful wording: Unvay supports a quit attempt and makes no medical claims.
